East-West Center: Applications Open for Advanced Leadership Program for Professionals based in Asia-Pacific Region

The East-West Center has announced an Advanced Leadership
Program for advanced professionals to reflect upon personal and
organizational achievement while developing plans for the future.
The Advanced Leadership Program takes
place at the East-West Center’s campus in Honolulu, Hawai’i, and runs
from October 18 – November 29, 2017 (6 weeks). Participants engage in a
self-designed program with substantial time given to independent work,
research and exploration. Participants receive their own workspace in an
East-West Center office and have the option of attending East-West
Center seminars, activities with the Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) and the East-West Center’s fall Wednesday Evening Seminar series.

Eligibility Criteria
The Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) is
intended for individuals with at least 12 – 15 years of professional
experience, and who would like to reflect upon, refocus and re-energize
their professional and/or organizational development.
Examples of ideal participants may include: Managing directors who need
to take time away from their day to day schedules for strategic
planning and visioning; advanced professionals who are considering a
career shift and who would benefit from the opportunity to explore new
options within a structured framework; or leaders with regional
responsibilities who might wish to deepen and/or widen their
understanding of leadership and current trends in the Asia Pacific
region.
