Each year, ICTP organizes about 50 activities (Schools/Colleges, Conferences, Workshops, etc.) either on its Trieste premises, or at outside venues, usually in a developing or emerging country. These activities are known as ICTP’s Scientific Calendar. Topics for activities are not restricted to theory. The activities are selected on the basis of scientific novelty and impact on the international community, with special emphasis on bringing together scientists from South and North, basic training for younger scientists, and hands-on training for computer-intensive subjects. ICTP encourages proposals for activities to be added to its Scientific Calendar; for more details, see more.
