Unsoed Intercultural Summer Camp (UIS) 2016 in Indonesia

Unsoed Intercultural SummerCamp (UIS) is a program offered by Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), one of state universities in Indonesia, located in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency in Central Java Province. UIS provides International Students the opportunity to learn not only intercultural experience but also integrated understanding on local wisdom, ecology and agriculture of Banyumas Regency, a beautiful Indonesian countryside in Central Java through a valuable and meaningful seven days program.
Eligibility:
  • Undergraduate overseas students;
  • Able to communicate in English;
  • Pay admission fee USD 300 (include tuition, excursion and accommodations during program).
Benefits:
UIS program will give all participants opportunities to explore urban areas which have traditional cultures. Moreover, they will experience playing Indonesian folk games, learning about Mount Slamet biodiversity and making traditional snacks. There is also activity to save environment which is learning costal conservation and planting mangrove. After joining the program, all participants will receive certivicate from UIS.
