Call for Applications: Jeanne Sauvé Public Leadership Program 2017-19! Deadline: 21 October 2016

The Jeanne Sauvé Foundation is seeking applications from bright young change-makers from a wide range of disciplines and sectors from Canada and around the world to participate in Jeanne Sauvé Public Leadership Program 2017-19.
The theme of the 2017-19 Public Leadership Program is Public Leadership for Culturally Diverse Societies: The Inclusion Imperative.
The program represents the beginning of a lifelong personal and professional development journey, as well as an opportunity to join a global community of public leaders.
For the 2017-19 Program, a new cohort of Public Leadership Fellows will collectively explore how focusing on strategies of inclusion can help public leaders respond to the complex challenges facing culturally diverse societies.
Program Overview
  • Year 1 (Full-time, Residential Phase): A full-time, intensive, residential leadership development experience in Montreal with a dozen Sauvé Fellows from Canada and around the world.
  • Year 2 (Part-time, Field Phase): Fellows return to their respective communities and countries in order to apply the skills, test the new ideas, or implement the initiatives conceptualized in residence, either alone or in collaboration with other Fellows. During the Field Phase, Fellows benefit from ongoing leadership development support from their cohort as well as from the Foundation.
  • Lifelong Engagement: After completion of the Field Year of the Program, Fellows are encouraged to remain active members of the growing community of Jeanne Sauvé public leaders around the world.
