The Junior Chamber International (JCI) in partnership with SDG Action Campaign is currently accepting proposals for its Global Youth Empowerment Fund, an initiative to empower young people around the world to impact their communities by investing in grassroots, community projects. The Fund will offer grants, financing and training to youth-led projects and social enterprises that advance the Global Goals for Sustainable Development in local communities around the world.
The Fund will believe in the power of young people to create positive change as they address the greatest challenges in their communities and unite all sectors of society to create sustainable impact by advancing the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

Weston’s Seeding Food Innovations Grants 2017: Apply & Win upto $150,000!

The George Weston Limited and Loblaw Companies Limited are inviting Letter of Intents (LOI) for “Food Innovation grants 2017” to provide seed funding for trans-disciplinary research proposals that address food and health challenges that will impact Canadians and are of global concern OR offer debt/equity investments to business-focused projects that have a real social impact both in Canada and globally.
The 2017 Seeding Food Innovation program (the “Program”) continues a long history of philanthropic support from the Weston family of companies in the area of food, which has ranged from funding the Loblaw Chair of Sustainable Food Production at the University of Guelph to the Weston Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.
Funding Information
Funding of up to $150,000 per project is available for projects with an estimated duration of up to two years within the field of food innovation.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) invites youth-led organizations from select countries to submit project proposals to the Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF). YSF supports youth-led organizations that foster peaceful and inclusive societies by providing direct funding to outstanding projects promoting intercultural and interfaith dialogue and advancing the mission of UNAOC. Organizations led by youth (18-35 years old) from select countries are encouraged to apply by February 5th.
