Eurasian Development Bank: Creative Competition “Eurasian Integration and Development – XXI Century”

The Eurasian Development Bank is currently seeking applications for its third annual art competition for its media “Eurasian Integration and Development – XXI Century” with an aim to develop and strengthen cross-cultural and economic ties between the countries of the region. It also aims to promote the dissemination of objective information about the integration processes in the Eurasian space.

Objectives

• promote objective information on the integration process on the Eurasian;
• help attract media attention and the public to the best practices, achievements and the positive effects of regional economic integration and cooperation in the region, as well as the popularization of this problem, the formation and development of positive public opinion on the creative role of socio-economic efficiency and the importance of these processes for the peoples and countries in the region;
• identify and summarize the best examples of economic journalism.

Topics

• Regional economic integration, including trade between the countries of the region and their mutual investments, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation, implementation of interstate projects, cross-border activities of business groups.
• Inter-state solution in the field of integration; the functioning of integration associations.
• The effects of integration processes on the economy, social and economic situation of the region; their perception of the business community and the public.
• Problems of sustainable development of the region, assessment and analysis of the economic problems of macroeconomic indicators, the problems of infrastructure development, economic modernization and innovation.
• Problems of crisis management in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to journalists from the participating States EDB – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
