The International Images for Science competition 2017, Deadline: Sunday 30th April 2017.
The International Images for Science competition 2017 is now open for entries. We are looking for the best images to show how photography is used in science, can put across scientific concepts or illustrates the role of science in our everyday lives.
The competition is open to everyone, regardless of age or experience, to RPS members and non-members. There are five awards across three age categories: Age 17 & Under (Gold), Age 18-25 (Gold) and Age 26 & Over (Gold, Silver and Bronze). Each award comes with an RPS medal as well as a share of a total prize fund of £3500. The competition is free to enter, the closing date is midnight on Sunday 30th April 2017.
A selection panel will look at every entry and will select 100 to form an exhibition that will open in September 2017. The exhibition will tour around the UK, including at the major science festivals, and will be seen by over 140,000 people.
