ENU International Model United Nations 2017, Deadline: 15th April 2017

Program Date: 31st May – 2nd June 2017

Venue: Astana, Kazakhstan
ENU International Model United Nations  2017 is a three-day United Nations simulation for university students held from 31 May to 2 June 2017 and sponsored by United Nations Department of Public Information in Kazakhstan. It is estimated that 280 participants from different countries will congregate at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University to confront and debate issues of international import in 11 committees. Especially, the conference is organized during the time of EXPO 2017 whose host city is Astana, so it is a great opportunity for all participants to explore Astana and have an amazing experience of Kazakhstan.
Inspired by the speech of the Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon: “Humanity has entered the era of sustainability – with a global commitment to fulfill the great promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In this, the Organization’s 71st year, we have 17 goals to propel us towards a better future for all on a healthy planet.”, the theme of ENUIMUN 2017 is “Future for All” to focus all the agendas of committees on solutions to ongoing challenges to human beings in their attempt to create a sustainable future for future generations. ENUIMUN 2017 will be the first ever MUN to simulate real rules of procedure of United Nations committees.
Even though Kazakhstan and Astana are less known to most of the international students, ENU team still goes the extra mile to ensure the highest quality of a real international conference and all the participants can have our word that ENUIMUN 2017 is organized with international standards of a diplomatic negotiation.
