Description
The Global Public Policy Watch is happy to announce its collaboration in the project “Futures of Europe” in which European citizens will seek and discuss answers about the future of life in Europe in the upcoming decades, and their hopes and fears for Europe and the European idea as such.
‘Futures of Europe’ is part of and supported by FutureLab Europe, a network of young Europeans that are engaged in a variety of civic initiatives, and will consist of two workshops in Cologne, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark.
Eligibility
For the digital part of the project, the project is looking for contributors that share their ideas and essays on one or more of the following questions:
– How do you want your local community to look like in 30 years?
– How do you want your community to function/be organized in 30 years?
– How do you want your region/country to look like in 30 years?
– What do you want Europe to stand for in 30 years?
Award
The essays will be posted on the project’s and GPPW’s website and get promoted through social media. Lastly, selected articles will be presented at FutureLab Europe’s Autumn Conference in September 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
