Award Amount: $1,000

The GFWC-Hastings Women’s Club “Jumpstart Your Future” Scholarship is available to female students who are residents of the Barry County area. You must be a graduate of a Hastings area high school and work part-time to qualify for this award.

Mary Macon McGuire Scholarship

Available to: College Freshmen through College Seniors
Award Amount: 2 Awards of $2,500

The Mary Macon McGuire Scholarship is available to female students who are returning to school to upgrade their education and employment skills so as to better provide for their families. You must reside and attend school in Virginia and be the head of your household to be eligible for this award.

Award Amount: $3,000

The Future is Female Scholarship is available to female students. You must be a U.S. citizen and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also answer five short essay questions.

Chicana/Latina Foundation Scholarship Program

Available to: College Freshmen through College Seniors
Award Amount: 31 Awards of $1,500

The Chicana/ Latina Foundation Scholarship Program is open to women of Chicana/ Latina heritage who reside and attend school in select counties in Northern California. Undergraduate students must have completed 12 semester units and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be considered for this award. Graduate students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Young Women in Public Affairs Award

Available to: Females, Ages 16-19
Award Amount: $1,000

The Young Women In Public Affairs Award is available to female students who are 16 to 19 years of age. You must reside in a Zonta district / region, or be a citizen of a Zonta country to be eligible for this award. You must also demonstrate superior leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes.

Society of Iranian American Women for Education Scholarship

The Society of Iranian American Women for Education Scholarship is available to full-time female students enrolled in one of the schools in the Alamo Community College District. You must be of Iranian descent, in legal F-1 status or Non F-1 VISA Holder and demonstrate financial need with a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for this award.

Association for Women in Architecture Foundation Scholarship

The Association for Women in Architecture Foundation Scholarship is available to female students who reside or attend school in California. You must be majoring in architecture, landscape architecture, urban and land planning, interior design, or environmental design to be eligible for this award.

The Women in STEM Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate female students. You must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics to be eligible for this award.

Women On Par Scholarship

Award Amount: 2 Awards from $500-$1,000

The Women On Par Scholarship is available to female undergraduate students in the U.S. and Canada. You must be at least 30 years of age and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. You must also be a first time applicant to school, or be returning to school after an absence to complete a degree.

Mike Eidson Scholarship

The Mike Eidson Scholarship is available to third-year law students. You must be a female student with a demonstrated commitment to a career as a trial lawyer, and show dedication to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution and to the concept of a fair trial to be eligible for this award.

Women in Technology Scholarship Essay Contest

The Women in Technology Scholarship Essay Contest is open to female students currently enrolled in the 12th grade at a New Mexico high school. You must submit an essay of between 800 and 1200 words that answers some or all of the technology based questions on the sponsor’s website in order to be considered for this award.

The Vivienne Camp Scholarship is awarded to two young Jewish men and two young Jewish women for college or vocational studies at a post-secondary California institution. The Dr. Blanca Moore-Velez Woman of Substance Scholarship is available to African – American female undergraduate students. You must be at least 35 years of age and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a 500 – word essay on the following topic: “Challenges to the Mature Student and How I Overcame Them.”

P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education

Available to: College Juniors through Graduate Students, Year 3
Award Amount: $2,000

The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education is available to female students in the United States and Canada.
You must be a citizen of the US or Canada and attend a college or university in the US or Canada.
You must be within 24 months of completing your educational goal and have spent at least 24 consecutive months as a non-student during your adult life to be eligible for this award.
Students in doctoral and professional degree programs are not eligible.

Lifetime Adoption Foundation Scholarship

The Lifetime Adoption Foundation Scholarship is available to birth mothers who have placed a child for adoption any time after 1990.
You must be able to present verification of finalization from the adoption professional that handled the adoption.
Women that have placed a child for adoption through Lifetime Adoption Center are given priority.
In addition, you must be drug-free, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and show proof of part- or full-time enrollment, or intention of enrollment in an accredited educational or trade institution to be eligible for this award.
An essay is also required.

Madeline P. Peterson Scholarship for American Indian Women

The Madeline P. Peterson Scholarship for American Indian Women is open to incoming freshmen women at the University of Iowa who have a tribal affiliation.
You may renew the award for three additional years (for a total of eight semesters).
The scholarship is intended to financially assist students who otherwise would be unable to attend college.
There is no application required, qualified students are automatically considered.

The Center for the Education of Women is available to returning women students at the University of Michigan. You must have had an interruption in education during which no academic credit was earned.
