Harvard Pre-College Program, Deadline: Ongoing
  • SESSION I:June 25–July 7, 2017
  • SESSION II:July 9–21, 2017
  • SESSION III:July 23–August 4, 2017
The Harvard Pre-College Program is immersive, collaborative, and transformative. Alongside peers from around the world, you’ll thrive in a dynamic, supportive academic environment.
Whether you decide to attend for two, four, or six weeks, you’ll get an introduction to college life as you attend challenging classes, live on campus, and enjoy fun excursions and activities.

IN THE PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Learn without limits

Pursue your interests in courses focusing on physics, law, writing, philosophy, and a dozen other subjects. In our noncredit classes, we dispense with grades so that you can fully commit to your growth as a student, well-rounded individual, and engaged citizen.

Live at Harvard

When you attend the Pre-College Program, you’ll live in a historic undergraduate house, right in Harvard Square. You will be with your fellow pre-college students, two resident directors, and resident advisors and proctors who provide mentoring and support. Curfew each night is at 11 pm.
You’ll also enjoy meals at Harvard’s Annenberg Hall, which is a short walk from Harvard Yard. Your plan covers three meals a day, seven days week, and snacks during a nightly “brain break.”

Thrive outside the classroom

The Pre-College Program offers many engaging activities beyond the classroom to ensure you make the most out of your two weeks on campus. You will have opportunities to engage with faculty, tour college campuses, socialize with fellow students, and explore New England.
Past events and activities include:
  • a lecture and discussion on your social media presence and awareness
  • information sessions with college admission officers
  • off-campus outing to a Boston Red Sox baseball game
  • t-shirt tie-dye, flag football, and the “no-talent” talent show.
