INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ENERGY SUMMIT 2017, Venue: Mérida, Mexico, Deadline: Ongoing
Program Date: 13th- 18th June, 2017

The International Student Energy Summit (SES) is a global forum that focuses on sustainable resource management and the role that students will play in defining the future of energy development. SES is Student Energy’s pinnacle event and targets international, multidisciplinary post secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies interested in energy.
SES occurs every two years at academic institutions around the world. The internationally recognized event has brought high profile energy leaders such as Richard Jones (Executive Director of the International Energy Agency), and Sri Mulyani (Managing Director and COO of the World Bank) among hundreds of other speakers. The latest summit brought together over 650 students from more than 100 countries.
SES has been hosted with great success in Calgary, Canada in 2009, in Vancouver, Canada in 2011, in Trondheim, Norway in 2013, and in Bali, Indonesia in 2015. The event is planned completely by students and brings together 700+ young energy leaders from over 100 countries as well as renowned energy experts from across the globe.
The vision for SES 2017 is an event that will build on the success of past conferences and inspire students to play a role in transitioning the world to a sustainable energy future.
