International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh is an annual film festival held countrywide, which showcases full-length features, shorts, experimental films made for and by children, including fiction animations and documentaries, from around the world. Founded in 2008, it is the biggest film festival in Bangladesh and also the only international film festival for children and young adults of the country.

Sections and categories : For filmmakers from Bangladesh

1. Children Filmmakers’ Section 
Country: Bangladesh Filmmaker’s Age: Up to 18 years old Subject: There is no restriction for choosing the subject of the story Duration: The duration of the film should be less than 20 minutes

2. Young Bangladeshi Filmmakers’ Section
Country: Bangladesh Filmmaker’s Age: 19-25 years Subject: There is no restriction for choosing the subject of the story Duration: The duration of the film should be less than 25 minutes

3. Social Film Section
Theme for this year: Climate Change and Environment
This festival aims to showcase the films based on social issues which will increase awareness in the viewers bringing a good impact in the society. Every year the subject/theme for this section will be changed.

Country: Bangladesh Filmmaker’s Age: 19-25 years Subject: All the films must be made based on a story related to the theme announced i.e. Climate Change and Environment for this year.Duration: The duration of the film should be less than 20 minutes

4. International Film Competition
(i) Short (ii) Full length
Country: No country barriers except Israel and Taiwan.Filmmaker’s Age: There is no age limit for the director of the film.Subject: There is no restriction for choosing the subject of the story but the film must be a children film i.e. it should be made for or related to children.Duration: There is no limit of duration.

5. Non-Competitive Category
Any filmmaker is eligible to submit their film in the non-competitive section only for festival official screening.
(i) Short (ii) Full length
Country: No country barriers except Israel and Taiwan.Filmmaker’s Age: There is no age limit for the director of the film.Subject: There is no restriction for choosing the subject of the story but the film must be a children film i.e. it should be made for or related to children.Duration: There is no limit of duration.
