Young Faces Conference: Strategic Cybersecurity Policy Development in Southeast Europe! Deadline: 14 October 2016

Description
This year’s programme will develop participants’ understanding of challenges in cybersecurity governance; explore best practices and relevant tools for developing and implementing cybersecurity policies. At the end of the programme, the participants will be informed about tools for cybersecurity governance development, devising cybersecurity strategies and action plans, identifying the needs of stakeholders and conceptualising multistakeholder discussions on cybersecurity.

Specific topics and skill areas that will be covered include:
The main cybersecurity issues and how they relate to other policy areas, stakeholders involved;Strategic goals in and tools for cybersecurity governance;Developing a cybersecurity strategy;Multistakeholder involvement in policy discussion and implementation, including international and regional discussion mechanisms.

This year’s programme is co-organised by DCAFand DiploFoundation.

Eligibility
Be no more than 35 years old on 31 December 2016;Be public officials, corporate sector representatives, graduate students or members of civil society or the media from the Western Balkans, Croatia or Moldova;Hold a graduate degree (or be enrolled in a graduate degree programme) or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline;Have a very good command of English, spoken and written.

Costs
DCAF covers all costs for participants related to thetrip (meals, accommodation, travel), and the transportation and accommodation booking as well.
