Apply Now and Become a Young European Ambassador! Deadline: 15 September 2016

The ‘Young European Ambassadors’ (YEAs) is an initiative launched within the framework of the EU OPEN Neighbourhood Programme (EU Neighbours East). It will take place in the six countries of the EU Eastern Partnership (EaP) from September 2016 onward. The YEA network will connect at least 100 young people from all over Europe!

The network consists of people aged 15-25 from the EaP countries and from the EU. They will have the opportunity to regularly exchange information and views on Europe (culture, values, current issues,…) as well as to engage in dialogue-driven activities and events in the EaP countries and/or the EU.
They will be guided and supported by two Network Coordinators who will regularly travel in Europe. Easy communication platforms will be put in place to facilitate exchanges, regular Young European Ambassadors missions will be prepared, contests will be organized, and more! English will be the main language of use for the YEAs, but knowledge of local languages will be an asset.
Eligibility Criteria
  • No participation fees are required.
  • Applicants must be a citizen of one of the EU Member States or one of the six EaP countries (Armenia,AzerbaijanBelarusGeorgiaMoldova and Ukraine) to be eligible.
  • Applicants must be between 15 and 25 years old to be eligible.
  • Applicants must be a fluent English speaker to be eligible.
