International Labour Organization: Support to Local Employment Partnerships in Bosnia and Herzegovina
International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking proposals for a project entitled “Support to LocalEmployment Partnerships in Bosnia and Herzegovina” funded by the European Union. The Call is open for all municipalities and cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which can apply in partnership with public employment services, accredited educational institutions, enterprises, civil society organisations including local and regional development agencies, trade unions, chambers of commerce etc.
The project is part of a broader EU support to local development and employment in BiH. The project is implemented by ILO in order to support self-sustaining, partner-led activities in the framework of the labor market at the local level, in order to increase access to formal employment, particularly in areas affected by floods in 2014.
Funding Information
- The project is worth EUR 4 million, of which 3 million intended to grant to local communities in BiH.
- The aim of the call is to determine interest in participating in the tender for the award of grants worth between 150,000 and 200,000 euros, which will be awarded in the period from 2016 to 2018.
Proposal Priority
Proposals should be focused on creating jobs and supporting local development through the institutionalization of collaboration among key local stakeholders.
