2016 Facebook Research Internship (Oculus) in USA
Oculus Research is looking for exceptional interns to help facebook create a revolution in virtual and augmented reality. Interns must be pursuing Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, related STEM or quantitative field or relevant experience. The internships are typically twelve (12) or sixteen (16) weeks long. This is an unpaid internship program.

Eligibility: Interns have to follow the following guidelines:
- Pursuing Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, related STEM or quantitative field or relevant experience
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Proven track record of achieving significant results
- Preferred: Demonstrated software engineer experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or Ph.D. papers
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2016.

Internship Description: Oculus Research is looking for exceptional interns to help us create a revolution in virtual and augmented reality. Computer vision, cognitive science, and optics skills are especially appreciated, but smart, motivated people with strong coding or hardware backgrounds are more than welcome, and strong math skills are a huge plus. We’re doing research into novel display-plus-optics systems, computer vision/tracking solutions of many sorts, haptics, input, audio, user interface, perceptual psychology, and more. We want to build a broad VR research community, so we encourage publishing. Come join us as we make VR and AR happen!
