The Centre for Clean Energy Technology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is offering one PhD scholarship for domestic students. The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding candidate to work on electrocatalysts for applications in rechargeable lithium-air batteries.
The CCET focuses on the development of efficient devices for energy harvesting, storage, and conversion.
The University of Technology Sydney is a public university in Sydney, Australia. The university was founded in its current form in 1988, although its origins trace back to the 1870s. It is part of the Australian Technology Network of universities.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding candidate to work on electrocatalysts for applications in rechargeable lithium-air batteries.
Scholarship Award: Stipend at 2017 rate for three years – $26,682 per annum.
Number of Scholarships: There is only one scholarship available.

Eligibility: A successful candidate should demonstrate a strong background in research in one or more fields that include: Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology, Analytical chemistry, Sensors and devices and Material sciences.
Nationality: Australian students are eligible to apply.
