Apply for the APN’s Annual Proposal Development Training Workshop! Deadline: 31 October 2016

Are you young researcher working in BangladeshBhutanIndiaMaldivesNepalPakistan or Sri Lanka and interested in developing regional proposals? If yes, then apply for the Proposal Development Training Workshop (PDTW).
Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN) in collaboration with Past Global Changes (PAGES) and National Environment Commission of Bhutan is currently inviting applicants for its Proposal Development Training Workshop (PDTW) in order to enhance the capacity of young scientists and practitioners in the South Asia region to develop competitive research proposals for funding.
APN’s Annual Proposal Development Training Workshop (PDTW) will be held on 14-16 December, 2016 in Bhutan.

  • Observed Climate Change and Variability
  • Regional Climate model
  • Climate application
Benefit
APN and PAGES will cover the cost of participation of selected participants.
Eligibility Criteria
  • The PDTW is open to young scientists from the South Asia region and working in the area(s) related to the main topics of the workshop.
  • Applicants requiring funding support will only be accepted from those young scientists/practitioners who are from, living and working in APN member countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
  • Young scientists/practitioners who wish to submit applications on a self-funded basis may do so and should be working in an area related to the topic(s) and with a focus on South Asia, although he/she may be from any APN member or approved country.
