Social Innovation Award: Breaking the Isolation of People with Rare Diseases, Deadline: 16 October 2016
The Groupama Health Foundation is seeking applicants for its Social Innovation Award with an aim to break the isolation of people with rare diseases and their families.
The Social Innovation Award aims to support innovative actions which constitute a significant advance or rupture in the lives of people with rare diseases and their families. It should help to break isolation, promote link social, professional integration or support the development of therapeutic patient education.
Mission
- Disseminate information on rare diseases, regardless of the type of audience.
- Support associations to help patients live better with their disease.
- Helping a research project for five years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Projects must be submitted by a structure proves his existence in France.
- They must relate exclusively of rare diseases , as defined by the WHO (World Health Organization) and listed in the directory Orpha and enroll in one of the following themes:
- Contribute to break the isolation,
- Foster social ties and / or occupational integration,
- Assist in the development of therapeutic patient education, isolated by the disease.
